Set up the apt repo manually (Linux)

The .deb registers this automatically. For headless boxes, servers, or scripted installs, add the repo by hand:

curl -fsSL https://speakey.io/apt/speakey.gpg | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /etc/apt/keyrings/speakey.gpg
echo "deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/speakey.gpg] https://speakey.io/apt stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/speakey.list
sudo apt update && sudo apt install speakey

Then apt upgrade keeps Speakey current. The install method doesn't affect licensing — activate in-app exactly as on Windows.
